Oh, but don't think we're all about work and no play.
Who deserves a RETREAT more than folks working in the animal care field? Silent auctions, Live auctions, Prizes, Banquet, Contest, Freebies, Take home information and more.
The 2006 Retreat was an excellent one!
We were more than thrilled to have Kate Hurley, DVM, MPVM, and Dr. Leslie Appel as our feature speakers
Dr. Hurley is the assistant clinical professor, Shelter Medicine & Small Animal Population Health Director for UC Davis Medicine Program.
Beautiful weather allowed for a first time, an outdoor BBQ luncheon, with Hamburgers, BBQ chicken, potato salad, tossed salad,
watermelon, desserts and drinks. Tall shelter tales were being passed around at all the picnic tables. This was a great time in the sun to be able to visit with others from in and out of state.
By the way anyone from any state is welcomed to join MACA.
We have members from Idaho, South Dakota, Colorado & more.
If you missed 2006 then please plan on joining us for 2007.
Right now Phyllis is traveling the state to choose another fabulous location
Plan ahead.....
